AMANGANI LODGE Jackson, Wyoming The Amangani Lodge is a luxury resort consisting of 43 guest suites, health club, outdoor pool, restaurant, kitchen, meeting rooms, parking garage and offices. EEI was hired to provide mechanical and electrical system design services with a focus on quality, premium comfort and the highest aesthetic considerations. The mechanical systems consisted of radiant under-floor heating and air systems for room pressurization, ventilation and cooling. The electrical system included a diesel-driven generator to provide power for heating and select lighting systems in the event of an outage. Guest room lighting highlighted room features while providing an intimate atmosphere; and public area lighting was controlled with multiple scene dimming systems to adjust for the setting sun to the west. The challenges faced in design included packaging the equipment in architecturally demanding configurations, supplier performance, first cost and operating costs to produce comfort and convenience for a world-class facility. |
