LEED^® Project

El Paseo Village is two-story, 70,000-SF retail shopping and adjacent parking structure located in Palm Desert, California.  It is comprised of retail suites, restaurants, and office space and was designed to meet U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED-NC 2.2 Silver certification.

EEI was hired as the Commissioning Authority and provided commissioning services on the following equipment and systems:

• HVAC systems and associated controls
• Domestic hot water systems
• Lighting and daylighting controls
• Renewable energy systems

Special energy-efficiency features of the project include:

• Occupancy sensors to control interior light fixtures
• Exterior photocells and time clocks
• Occupant-operated HVAC controls
• High energy-efficient condensing units
