Olympia (WA) City Hall

Olympia, Washington

LEED® Project

Olympia City Hall

The existing City Hall for Olympia, Washington was a single-story building constructed in 1966.  As the city services grew through the years, additional office space was acquired or leased.  Once the new City Hall is completed, all city departments will once again be housed in the same building.

The City has applied for LEED certification at the Silver level.  Deconstruction of existing structures and reuse of existing materials is an important factor in achieving the LEED certification.

EEI was hired as an energy engineering consultant to work with the design-build team in preparing prepare energy performance specifications.
