The University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) is currently constructing four mid-rise residence halls for undergraduate student housing, totaling approximately 1,511 beds, in the northwest quadrant of the campus. The residence halls will also accommodate 10 faculty apartments, as well as a 750-seat dining commons, a 425-seat multipurpose meeting facility, and a fitness center. Construction began in mid-2009 with completion scheduled for 2013.
