EEI Office Open in Columbus

Our Ohio office has much to celebrate this year! We opened the Ohio offices three years ago, and the team has grown substantially since then. Ohio is a region in which EEI already enjoyed many major partnerships with clients, so growing our team has allowed us to take on more work while offering additional educational benefits to our clients. In fact, our Ohio team can currently offer a USGBC and AIA accredited course on Monitoring-Based Commissioning to interested facilities management staff, architects, and anyone interested in gaining CEUs this year. We look forward to offering new courses in the near future.

Just this summer, our Columbus branch moved to a new office and is officially up and running in the new location. Our Ohio team would be happy to meet with you in the office or at an alternate location to discuss your upcoming commissioning needs. In fact, our Ohio Branch Manager, Mike Ball, is offering a complimentary hour of consultation to interested parties in the Columbus area! Call Mike at 614-257-9246 or email him at to schedule your consultation today!

The Ohio team consistently finds interesting and unique projects to work on, and has made an impression throughout the State. One major accomplishment was receiving the American Electric Power (AEP) Retrocommissioning Provider of the Year award last year! AEP is the local utility provider in the region and EEI Ohio has been working with the company to identify energy savings opportunities in a variety of facilities in Ohio. Our team is just wrapping the AEP Service Center in Lucasville and has already found several key opportunities for improvement that will save the owners money. The team is also wrapping up the Pomerene and Oxley Halls Renovation project at the Ohio State University (OSU); the first project that EEI Ohio officially landed! EEI is working on several commissioning projects for OSU, including healthcare and higher education projects. One exciting project that is currently underway is the Schumaker Student-Athlete Development Center, a new athletic training center on OSU’s campus that will allow a variety of student athletes to train at a single state-of-the-art facility!

We are thrilled that the EEI Ohio office continues to witness success and look forward to seeing what they do next!
