EEI is acting as the Mechanical Owner’s Representative and Commissioning Agent for a project to replace eight air handlers that serve surgery, cath lab, endoscopy
/ bronchoscopy, inpatient bed and administrative areas with minimal disruption to hospital operations. EEI’s scope includes development and verification of control sequences for heat recovery fan wall air handlers with desiccant dehumidification and for integration of a new chiller plant with the existing plant. EEI has been working with facility staff to investigate and resolve operational concerns in the USP 797 compounding pharmacy, histology laboratory, and isolation rooms and to quantify and address heating hot water system capacity concerns.
EEI has been instrumental in planning and executing the transition from new to old equipment. The client has relied heavily on our engineering and temperature controls expertise to guide the project while minimally impacting occupant comfort and safety.
