Project Description
Project Description
Under a contract with Holder Construction Company, EEI provided pre-commissioning, document control, and QA/QC services for the campus of a major technology client.
Our scope of work included resolving commissioning issues related to the mechanical, controls, and test and balance portion of the scope of work, including QA/QC, start-up, pre-functional testing, and functional testing. Our team assisted with field testing throughout the project and was the primary interface with the owner’s third-party commissioning provider. We also acted as part of the MEP coordination and commissioning support team.
Using Cx Alloy, EEI reviewed, installed, and created custom reports daily. Our team also assisted with completing pre-functional packages at the request of Holder Construction. In order to achieve the ambitious objectives for this project, EEI staff worked over 60 hours/week and was on site for almost one year. At the height of the project, we had thirteen staff members on site to perform the necessary activities to keep the project on schedule. These efforts contributed heavily to achieving the owner’s schedule, budget, and facility goals.
